It’s already June, which means we’re halfway through the year. I can’t believe it’s been that long. I feel like winter just ended, and where I live, we’re still dealing with some cool days. We’ve also had some pretty strange weather, in my opinion. The weather patterns haven’t been very predictable. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if it will be a cooler or hotter summer. 🌞 🌧
I don’t know about you, but I was looking forward to having the flu and cold season behind me. I thought we would get a break by now, but unfortunately, the sick bugs are still hanging around. That said, my June newsletter will focus on biofilms. Did you know that they can develop all through our bodies? Unfortunately, this can lead to all kinds of nasty things such as lingering illnesses and infections. 🤒
I will also update you on the few vegetables that I have planted in my garden too. I am a little behind this year because we are going to go on a little trip. I didn’t want to worry about watering too many plants. I hope I don’t regret that decision. 😬

1. Understanding Biofilms:
I want to highlight a hidden cause of chronic illnesses that you might not know about. Biofilms are microbial communities that develop a protective coating that can interfere with the healing process and drug effectiveness.
If you are someone who struggles with chronic illness, you might want to consider this: Have you ever had implants or devices put into your body? Did you know that if you have systemic candida, you almost certainly have biofilm issues?
If you have chronic disease and you never considered the role biofilms might be playing, this is certainly something you might want to look into. If you’re not familiar with biofilms, I urge you to do some research on this topic. Check out my blog below to find out how biofilms can affect your health. I also give tips on how we can degrade them in our body.
I am currently a vegetarian. However, I do eat dairy and eggs. I have switched to this diet for the benefit of my gut health. The meat is currently off the menu. The problem is that I have been craving a hamburger, so I came up with the black bean burger recipe provided below. I’ve tried a few similar recipes from online sources, and I didn’t like any of them, so this recipe is one I put together myself. It actually has the texture of a regular burger, and it is surprisingly good.
The main ingredient “protease” in this digestive enzyme is a proven biofilm buster! If you struggle with candida or biofilms, you may want to speak with your health care practitioner. They can help determine if this product would be a good fit for you. If you have a sensitive tummy, you may want to take it with food at first. Then, take it a couple of times a day on an empty stomach once your body gets used to it.

4. My Spring Garden Update:
So, an update on my lettuce. Half the seeds I planted didn’t grow, so I had to replant that half, which was quite a hassle. So, it would seem I either got old seeds or there was something wrong with them. You can see the difference in the picture. 😆 At least it’s growing now, and I can’t wait to eat it.
5. Words of Encouragement:
Life can be full of troubles that make our heads spin. It can be hard not to let those challenges affect our attitudes. I know I can’t fix all the problems out there, but I don’t want to ignore them either.
However, I think we can still have a significant effect on the world. Even if we can’t cure all of its ills, I think we can be kind and loving to the people we come into contact with on a daily basis. We can also ask ourselves, “What kind of legacy do I want to leave when I am gone?”
I think the best legacy we can leave is to have a positive effect on the world. Of course, we can achieve that by working to cure its ills, but we can also achieve that by simply being kind.
Ephesians 4:2
“Be completly humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love”.
