Quick Skillet Green Beans with Garlic and Thyme

1 pack – Frozen Green Beans

1 TBSP – Organic Minced Garlic

1 1/2 to 2 cups – Water

1 TBSP – Chicken Broth ( Organic Better Than Bouillon – roasted chicken base)

1/4 tsp – Ground Thyme

1/2 cup – Olive Oil

Over medium high heat in a medium to large skillet add the olive oil, as soon as the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and stir until golden brown. Next, add the whole bag of frozen green beans and stir until the oil and garlic cover all the beans. Let it cook for a few minutes uncovered until they are not frozen. Next, add the water until it just covers the green beans. After that, add the bouillon and mix it in until it dissolves and cover the skillet with a lid. Add the thyme after it simmers for a bit. Keep covered and let it come to a high simmer until the beans are as tender as you want them. I personally like them real tender and cook them until the water is completely gone, so it caramelizes the beans. You do not have to cook them this long if you like a crisper green bean. Serve them right away or keep on low heat until ready to serve.
