Daily Nutrition Boost: Power Smoothie

My favorite daily, morning meal starts with the ingredients below, which I combine in my Ninja Nutri professional high-powered blender. These make a smoothie that I drink every day before eating food. I chose these ingredients, in part, because they’re a delicious way to get most of the nutrition that I need. They also reduce the number of pills I need to swallow every day. Plus, this combination gives me a big boost of energy first thing every morning. I’m ready to tackle whatever the day brings.

I add the contents of all of my gel cap supplements in my almond milk first. This is done before I add anything else to the blender. Then, I add these ingredients:

  • 1 cup organic unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1 TBSP ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp organic cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp to 1 TBSP AIM Fit ‘n Fiber
  • 1 TBSP AIM Just Carrots
  • 1 tsp AIM RediBeets
  • 2/3 cups organic frozen blueberries
  • 1 fresh organic banana (not frozen, but if it is let thaw for 10 min.)
  • The recommended serving size of protein powder from your brand of choice.

You can add whatever supplements you like depending on your nutritional needs.

Blend for about 40 seconds in a high-powered blender. It should come out creamy and smooth. It’s a great way to power pack your daily nutrition! The chia seeds & flax seed will still make it come out creamy. ENJOY!

If you choose to add the AIM RediBeets, the smoothie will turn a purple-red color. The taste will remain the same.
